KUIL SRI SUBRAMANIAR, BANDAR SUNWAY
The humble beginning of this temple had its origin in the Sungai WayTin Mines as early as 1966. In fact it was a place for the Tamil tin mining workers to congregate and worship. During 1989, the small temple was relocated to present site and the Kumbabishegam was held in the year 1992 after renovation.
The temple then started becoming a bustling centre of activity for the local Hindus. At one stage it was realized that this small temple would not be enough to with stand the strength of ever-increasing devotees. Hence with the blessing of Lord Sri Subramaniar, the Management committee headed by Dato’ R.Manivasagan had decided to transform this into a fairly bigger temple with a 7tier Rajagopuram of 90 feet. As a part of CSR activity, the temple also conducts two, three educational programs/seminar, motivational activities & prayer meetings for the school and college students.
Last but not the least, the temple runs a Kindergarten for more than 29 years with 5 permanent teachers, providing quality education by using advanced digital methods for a very nominal fee
